INTRO
In her paintings, Caro explores themes of avant-garde performance art and transcendent, figurative expressionism. A vast and deep appreciation for art history, theatre, antiques, and design movements is central to her work. She is interested in the conceptual relationship between Primitivism and Futurism. Her work seeks to investigate this relationship through a contemporary sensibility and encompass a new sense of transcendence for viewers.
Caro completed her BA degree at UCLA in Design|Media Arts with a minor in Digital Humanities.
